Attitude Changes Everything

I see it over and over and over gain.  People come into a gym, buy a membership and think they are on their way to becoming healthy.  For a few people, very few I might add, that is true.  But for the majority of people they don’t know what to do and how often to do it.  They do what they see other people doing.  They don’t make progress and the impetus for change quickly gets drowned in boredom, disillusion and frustration.

Let me ask you this.  If you wanted to be a great cook or a even just a good person, do you go join a club of just as confused and ignorant people OR do you find someone or some organization that knows how to cook.  Or do you find someone that you think is a really good person and ask them what they have done to get where they are today.  Of course the latter options.

Well, I do this for a living.  I know what it takes.  Yes, I’ve made tons of mistakes AND I have studied and studied and studied the research and talked to thousands of “gurus”.  I’ve been certified in just about everything certifiable (no jokes please).  I think I know some things about what it takes to get into shape….. at any age.  The oldest is 94 and the youngest is 12.  I also know I don’t know everything and I’m ALWAYS learning.  I now work with executives, diabetics, people with shoulder and knee injuries, athletes, senior citizens, youth, moms and dads.  If you don’t fall into one of those categories I would be surprised.

Shortly I’m going to be adding some options to the website of how we can talk, only if you want to and how I can advise you and coach you on your journey.   And please don’t do “Oh, now the real reason he set up the website”.  No, it’s not.  I have so many questions people are asking me I feel like I should formalize it so everybody can benefit.  If anything, I’m too nice and give away too much, just because I love what I do.

Yes, I will charge for this.  You have, or still do, get paid for what you do for a living.  Why shouldn’t I?  If you don’t value this enough to pay for it, that is fine.  Car dealers don’t give cars away for free.  Doctors don’t treat you for free.  It’s only fair I receive a fair reward for making a difference in your life.

I’d be more than happy to answer any questions you might have initially.  You’ll see.  We can have a good partnership.  And being 50+ has its advantages.  My hair is gray.  I sometimes wear reading glasses.  I’ve lived, not just traveled, all over the world.  I have injuries that would cripple most people.  I’ve been around the barn and know what it’s like to come back “from the other side”.   Why shouldn’t I pass some wisdom on to you so you can learn from my experiences and knowledge.  I’m not some 25 year old trainer that took a weekend class or worse, got his/her certification off the internet, which isn’t all THAT bad.  Really, doesn’t experience and knowledge say a whole lot more.

I look forward to hearing from you initially via an email on this site or via my personal email:  primefifty@gmail.com.

    • Give me some input on what method of communication would work best for you (e.g., private email, private text, group email or text, blog entries that are viewable by everyone, personal phone all, group meeting via the internet)

  1. Thanks for your comment. I would be very open to answer customized questions. What format should it take (e.g., private email, private text, Blog Q&A, live individual telephone call, group call-in) and how would you recommend would be the easiest way to charge for that?
