How Do I get Enough CALCIUM If I Don’t Eat Dairy?

For a long time women (and men, for that matter) have thought they had to eat dairy products (e.g., milk, yogurt, cheese, etc.) to get the bulk of their calcium.  Not true.  Here are some great sources of calcium that can be part of many meals.

Dairy is not all bad, but in many people it will trigger the body to produce mucous that coats the lining of your intestines and can prevent the proper absorption of nutrients.  Cut it way back.  I don’t begrudge anyone from having an ice cream cone or a small glass of milk now and then.  How in the world could you eat an Oreo if you didn’t?  Geez!
