It absolutely amazes me people resist getting in shape.  It is really simple.  Get up close.  Come on now, a little bit closer.  Just a little bit more.  You don’t have to join a gym.  In fact, that may be one of the worst things to do.  You don’t have to buy a lot of equipment or clothing.  You really don’t have to get one of the diet programs on TV, even though many of them can help.  Just MOVE!!!!!!!!!  I DON’T CARE HOW YOU DO IT OR WHAT YOU DO.  JUST MOVE.  Here are 50 things you can do to be more active.  Just do one a week.

  1. Take a walking lunch.
  2. Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
  3. Ride a bike to work or just for fun twice a week.
  4. Get off the bus or train a couple of stops early and walk.
  5. Park at the far end of the parking lot.
  6. When waiting in line stand on the balls of your feet.

  14. Dance in the elevator, when no one else is on it.
