Psssst. “Modify”

For anybody Over 50 the best kept secret for getting into shape is one word, “MODIFY”.  Modify any exercise you do so it doesn’t injure or re-injure a tender ankle, knee, hip, elbow, shoulder, finger or toe.  Make sure your range of motion continues until right before it starts to hurt.  NO PAIN, PERIOD.

Yes, the guy in the video is probably 25.  Who cares!  Are you afraid of a 25 year old.  Take my advice and try some of these.  You’ve known about many of them for years and were afraid they were “illegal”.  I bet it was a 25 year old that told you that.   Well, many of them just don’t get it.  That’s OK.  Don’t let that keep you from doing what is right for you.

THE BEST WAY TO GET IN SHAPE AND REDUCE BODY FAT FOR ANY AGE IS BODY WEIGHT EXERCISES.  NOT RUNNING, NOT LIFTING WEIGHTS, NOT CROSSFIT.  Nothing is better than your own bodyweight.  You don’t have  bench helping you out.  You don’t need any special equipment.  JUST YOU.  Hmmmmm. That is easy.
