By the time we are fifty many of us have become intolerant to certain foods. We clear our throats, blow our noses, cough ….. all allergy symptoms BUT this time not to the typical allergens in the air but to foods we commonly eat. My kids told me one time they knew I had arrived in the Georgia Dome because they could hear me clearing my throat in a crowd of 50,000+ screaming teenagers. I knew it was time to take note.
I’m not going to go into why we develop these symptom, but suffice it to say, we often think we can’t do anything about it and live with the obnoxious snorting AND put on weight and can never seem to take it off. The big one now is gluten. Everybody’s trying to find gluten-free foods. We’ll take all kinds of pills and potions and forget its all under our noses. Certain foods we eat cause a buildup of mucus not only in our noses and throats, but throughout or bodies. I’m not exaggerating nor am I trying to be gross. You change some of the foods you eat and many of the aggravating symptoms will disappear. Eat more of the foods on the left and the symptoms will increase. Eat more of the foods on the right and the symptoms will subside and the unwanted pounds will fall off. It’s really simple AND you don’t have to deprive yourself. It’s your call: eat more on the left and the symptoms increase. Eat more on the right and the symptoms go away, plain and simple.
